About the Instructor
Shana Crovo is a wife, mother of three, registered nurse and fitness professional with over 15 years experience. Born in Brevard County Florida to very active parents she developed a love for fitness at an early age, doing cheer-leading and dance, walking, running, workout VHS tapes with her mother, taking aerobics at Satellite High (where "Cheeseburger in Paradise" was one of the aerobic routines), and spending much of her time at the beach with family and friends. She has been teaching many formats of classes since graduating from Satellite High School and attending college to earn a degree in nursing. Her favorite classes include cardio kickboxing, step, interval training, strength, yoga, pilates, spinning, and (of course) boot camp. She enjoys training groups as well as one-on-one training. Shana also enjoys running, cycling, and playing with her very active children. She likes the challenge of outdoor endurance events including triathlons and 1/2 marathons, both of which she competes in throughout the year. She is a life long learner and continues to take classes to earn her MSN degree as a family nurse practitioner, while also staying on the cutting edge of fitness.
"My goal is to help others develop a life long habit of healthy living. It gives me so much joy to see others increase their strength, lose unwanted body fat, increase their flexibility, run or walk faster and further, have better balance, and make better nutrition and lifestyle choices. Our boot camp group is close knit, we truly look out for each other and want each member to be their personal best. Join us and begin achieving your personal fitness goals!" -Shana
